Cafe Kaslik
If you ignore the traffic, this could easily be a café in southern Europe with tables from here and the neighbouring bar competing for space on the pavement. The food is Lebanese with a wide range of hot and cold starters (or mixed mezze for those who can’t choose) and a shorter list of mains - kebabs and fish - all well executed. The drink of choice when we went was Lebanese rosé - not a fine wine but perfectly suited to a summer’s evening. Hookahs are available to accompany cardamom spiced Lebanese coffee and the complimentary bachlava was delicious. Cost £50 - £60 for two including a bottle of wine and service.
