Martyn Hurd - Non Executive Director

Martyn joined the Board of GRC in April 2003, as a Non-Executive Director, following his retirement as Director of Resources at ITN. In that role, he managed ITN’s worldwide bureau network, all core editorial and technical resources and HR. He was a member of the Executive Directors’ group and on the ITN Archive, ITN Factual and Euronews boards.

He remains a Company Trustee of the ITN Pension Scheme and chairs ITN’s benevolent fund and staff forum on pensions. His other directorships include The Broadcast Journalism Training Council. Martyn is also President of The British Moving Image Society.
